4 Channel Navigation Anti-Jam Device for DJI Matrice 350 GPS Protection

This 4-channel anti-jam module protects the navigation solution of a DJI Matrice 350 and similar industrial multirotors when operating in an environment saturated with GNSS interference. Instead of adding another sensor, it replaces the standard passive GNSS antenna path with a four-element controlled reception pattern array that suppresses interference arriving from ground level while preserving the satellite signals coming from above.

Why a Matrice 350 Needs Navigation Protection

Industrial survey, inspection and public-safety flights increasingly take place near active counter-UAS equipment, near border areas, or over infrastructure where GNSS interference is present whether intentional or not. When a Matrice 350 loses its position solution it falls back to visual and inertial hold, drift accumulates, and the mission is aborted. This module keeps the receiver locked so the aircraft completes the flight plan.

Four-Channel Anti-Jam and Anti-Spoof

The device combines two protective functions. Anti-jam operation nulls interference sources by adapting the antenna pattern so energy arriving from the jammer direction is cancelled. Anti-spoof operation rejects counterfeit navigation signals, which typically arrive from a ground transmitter at a low elevation angle rather than from the satellite constellation overhead. Because both mechanisms work on arrival direction, they remain effective against interference the receiver alone cannot distinguish.

Supported Constellations

Protection covers BeiDou B1, GPS L1 and Galileo E1, the primary civil navigation bands used by commercial flight controllers. Covering all three means the aircraft retains a multi-constellation position fix rather than depending on a single system that an attacker can target in isolation.

Integration

The module installs in place of the existing GNSS antenna and connects to the flight controller through the standard interface, so no firmware modification or recalibration of the airframe is required. Installation is reversible, which matters for fleet operators who need to move protection between airframes as mission risk changes.

Deployment Notes

Anti-jam performance depends on keeping the array's upward field of view clear, so mounting position and cable routing should avoid shadowing from payloads or landing gear. In environments with multiple simultaneous interference sources, a higher channel count provides more nulls; the 16-channel variant in the same series is the appropriate choice where many emitters are expected.
